The Green man has just been taken over again Feb'08 the new owners are very friendly, the food is fantastic. I would recommend giving this one a try !!!!!

The green man has since been taken over again. The food was fantastic and the new owners a family were friendly and couldn't help enough. I think this is a pub to retry now.

I used to visit the greenman on a regular occasion until it was taken over by the new owners.I thought a change in management might be just what the pub wanted but the new service was lousy and the staff were rude and did not seem to care for my custom. I waited ages for my meal and when it finally came it tasted plain and was cold. The suposedly 'fine' ales were nothing out of the ordinary. All in all i was very disapointed and decided to use my other local, the kings head. Which i have to say is absolutely fantastic! Great food Great drink and great service supplied in an excellent atmosphere! I suggest you check it out for yourself.
